The PEICA's mission is to promote counselling services on Prince Edward Island by providing support to the membership.
In recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day on Sept 10th, Rhonda Bear, FSIN -Youth Empowerment Director, will share the Life Promotion Resource—WANISKĀHK, that has been develop by Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) under the mandate of the Saskatchewan First Nations Suicide Prevention Strategy. The strategy was developed to help reduce the high suicide rates among Saskatchewan First Nations people, particularly the growing numbers among the youth.
